CANADA GOOSE EXPANDS HUMANATURE PURPOSE PLATFORM

by John Russel Jones

Outerwear brand Canada Goose’s has moved into Chapter 4 of its corporate purpose platform, HUMANATURE, uniting its sustainability and values-based initiatives and underscoring the brand’s purpose to keep the planet cold and the people on it warm.

To celebrate this new chapter, the brand has enlisted Hilde Fålun Strøm and Sunniva Sorby of Hearts in the Ice and Alysa McCall of Polar Bears International to speak with Generation Alpha on how crucial their work is to keep the planet cold, what people can do today to make meaningful change, and asking us all the questions we should be asking ourselves. The series is told through short-form videos that can be viewed on Instagram.

The brand has also introduced new colorways and styles of its Kind Fleece, which was launched in 2022. Kind Fleece is an ultra-soft and breathable fabric made with 62% recycled wool; 18% wood-based TENCEL™ Lyocell, a biodegradable fiber made from wood; 13% bio-based Sorona Polymer, a plant-based polymer made from the sugar derived from corn; and 7 percent Polyamide. The collection consists of styles for men, women, and kids and features silhouettes all fans of Canada Goose could recognize.
