CARMELO ANTHONY DEBUTS SECOND MELO MADE COLLECTION IN HARLEM
On Friday night, NBA star Carmelo Anthony debuted his second collection for Melo Made at Harlem Parish in New York City.
Upon entry, guests were directed through a creative journey showcasing Melo’s personal art collection, leading to an interactive painting installation by Nelson Makamo. Guests enjoyed a performance from Tiwa Savage, beats by DJ Meka, and were treated to African cuisine from Teranga and drinks from Mezcal El Silencio.
The collection draws upon the spirit and beauty of Africa and was inspired by artist Nelson Makamo. Anthony chose to work with designer Laduma Ngxokolo of Maxhosa Africa and Nelson to help him capture the beauty and unique fashion, music, and arts of the continent. The luxurious, unique pieces were made in the Maxhosa Africa brand headquarters in Africa.
