CHAMPION SURFER LAIRD HAMILTON LAUNCHES APPAREL LINE
Champion surfer Laird Hamilton is launching Laird Apparel LLC, a collection of functional, technically crafted, performance-based products, that will be sold online at www.lairdapparel.com and at Ron Robinson in Santa Monica, California. Future plans are to expand to other key retailers and resorts worldwide by year-end.
The collection includes board and fitness shorts, hybrid surf and polo shirts, fitness and studio pants, premium and graphic tees, and technical hoodie jackets in shades of olive, black, white, blue and silver. Price points range from $30 to $120.
“I wanted to create a line for the discerning man which would withstand functional demands with a contemporary and multi-functional edge,” said Hamilton in a statement. “I wanted to provide my contemporaries with durable, stylish yet masculine clothing that feels unique to the activity he is exploring.”
Hamilton has also worked as an actor, model, and television personality. He is married to profession volleyball player Gabrielle Reece.
