On Wednesday, December 12, Christie’s auction house and event management software company zkipster held a launch party for “The World’s Best Events”, a tribute to the best of the industry, documenting their untold stories via print, online and social media, in New York City.

Twenty-five never seen before photographs from the summer’s top parties were on view and the 2018 nominees of the top people, places, and parties were unveiled on zkipster’s platform.

A limited-edition coffee book titled ‘Inside – The World’s Best Events’ was also on display for the first time during the launch party. Written and edited by Saul Taylor, one of the founding editors of Monocle Magazine, and published by zkipster founders David Becker and Daniel Dessauges, in collaboration with media and entertainment expert Roxanne Motamedi, the coffee table book highlights three of the top events from summer 2018 – Formula 1’s Monaco Grand Prix, the LongHouse Summer Benefit in East Hampton, and the UNICEF Summer Gala in Porto Cervo.

Giving readers a unique glance into the working of some of the most famous gatherings around the world, ‘Inside – The World’s Best Events’ features interviews and never-before-seen photographs shot by Heiko Prigge.
