Coach Opening a Paris Flagship

by Harry Sheff

CoachCoach will open its first flagship in Paris at 372-374 Rue Saint-Honoré this fall. The brand describes the 6,500 sq. ft., two-level store as having “a distinctive New York City attitude” with a blackened steel and mahogany staircase as a centerpiece. The flagship store will feature a VIP shopping area and a monogram department.

Coach’s Europe president Nigel Darwin calls the store a pivotal move in the brand’s development in Europe.

“We’re especially excited about the opening of this prominent Paris location, our first flagship in this important global fashion capital, and centerpiece of our European growth strategy,” added Coach’s International Group president Ian Bickley. “We’re confident that our new Modern Luxury store environment, showcasing Coach’s rich heritage and commitment to craftsmanship along with product designed by Stuart Vevers, will be warmly embraced by the discerning Parisian consumer and international visitors alike.”
