COS TO DEBUT NEW COLLECTION AT LONDON FASHION WEEK

by Brian Lipton

British fashion house COS debut its autumn/winter 2021 collection at London Fashion Week in September with a hybrid show encompassing a physical catwalk, merged with artistic portraiture and moving images, digitally live-streamed to all at cos.com.

The collection, which will mark a new direction for the brand, will embody timeless COS style signatures and embrace elevated redefined wardrobe icons. In addition, COS’ in-house atelier will also revisit the intrinsic details and meticulous construction behind the company’s iconic garments. Nonetheless, from contrast binding to hand-stitched re-enforcements and adjustable new fits on tailoring, the brand will continue to focus on craftsmanship and longevity.

The company’s new ad campaign features activist and storyteller Janaya Future Khan, actor Jodie Turner-Smith; award-winning playwright and philanthropist Jeremy O. Harris; and coveted supermodel Raquel Zimmermann, alongside a cast of other noteworthy creators.

In addition, a new logo will also be featured on the collection and will be updated across all packaging this autumn. It will be made using responsibly sourced paper and durable woven paper handles that ensures all packaging is 100 percent recyclable, aligning with the brand’s wider sustainability values.
