Cubavera, the Latin-inspired brand, is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a product collaboration with the Miami Dolphins. The capsule collection consists of a selection of guayaberas and guayabera-inspired shirts all proudly showcasing iconic Miami Dolphin embroidered logos in the current, classic, and retro logo designs.

Two brands from Miami, Cubavera and the Dolphins, are joining forces to pay homage to the timeless wardrobe staple shirt that represents Latin culture. The collection will feature a variety of colors and styles in linen and linen blends perfect for the tropical climate and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Cubavera launched in the year 2000, and the brand continues to be celebrated for guayabera-inspired styles, original prints, and sharing the joy and vibrancy of Latin culture with the world.

“This is a unique opportunity to develop exciting apparel that fuses fashion and sports while capturing the appeal of the local fan base and represents an invaluable approach to leverage the excitement and sabor of the Miami lifestyle, said Perry Ellis International President and CEO, Oscar Feldenkreis. Started in 1967, our foray into the apparel business was selling the guayabera, and my father, Founder and Chairman, George Feldenkreis, notably developed a reputation as “El Rey de La Guayabera/The Guayabera King. We are proud to be able to celebrate two of the most recognized brands of Miami with this iconic shirt that transcends generations and cultures.”

“The guayabera is as endemic to Miami as Cafecito and many of our fans wear them as often as they do a Dolphins jersey,” said Miami Dolphins Director of Retail, Gabriel Jimenez. “We always want to meet our fans where they are and do so authentically. What would be more authentic than developing this collection with a company as true and iconic to the history of the guayabera as Cubavera?”

The collection is sure to be a hit with fans of both brands and will be a great way to honor the guayabera with its multi-generational crossover appeal. The collection will be sold at the Dolphins-owned stores at the Hard Rock Stadium, select Cubavera retail stores, and cubavera.com.
