DDK/Boston Traders Names Caputo SVP Design, Merchandising
DDK/Boston Traders has appointed Anthony Caputo senior vice president of design and merchandising, a newly created position. He will be responsible for DDK’s overall design and serve as creative director for the Boston Traders brand as well as working with retailers on private labels and new brands.
DDK chief executive Paul Rosengard commented, “Anytime you can add someone of Anthony’s caliber to your team it is a great move. Real design talent is so hard to find; I am thrilled to be reunited with Anthony.”
Added DDK founder and co-owner Hershey Gold, “The addition of Anthony is a major step forward in the evolution and growth of DDK. We are particularly energized by what we know he can bring to our Boston Traders brand.”
Caputo comes to DDK from LF USA where he was VP of men’s design. He has also held senior creative positions at Calvin Klein and Joseph Abboud. At DDK, he joins a creative team that includes VP Lenor Romano in the New York office and VP Robert Aubuchon in Montreal.
DDK’s brands include Boston Traders, Caribbean Joe, Lenor Romano and Utex.
