DIOR X BIRKENSTOCK CELEBRATES DESIGNER’S LOVE OF GARDENING
French couture maison Dior has teamed up with German healthy, hippie footwear brand Birkenstock on a collaboration for the house’s Winter 2022 collection. Unveiling two reinvented models for the collection – the tokio mule and the milano sandal, the shoes pay a subtle tribute to Monsieur Dior’s passion for the art of gardening while combining functionality and elegance.
Men’s artistic director Kim Jones also designed special CD 1947 pieces for the collection. This new line combines the “Christian Dior” signature logo with “1947”, the year the house was founded. These embellish iconic house creations like the saddle bag, wallets, T-shirts, and more.
