DKNY TEAMS UP AGAIN WITH HETRICK-MARTIN INSTITUTE FOR PRIDE

by Stephen Garner

For a third season, DKNY has teamed up with the Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) in celebration of Pride 2021.

This year, DKNY has developed an apparel capsule in support of HMI, which provides empowerment, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ youth in the NYC area and beyond, with a unisex tee and tank top proudly declaring “Ask Me About My Pronouns” in a bold, ombré rainbow.

To kick off the capsule’s digital campaign, DKNY has tapped a diverse cast of TikTok talent including Attis L., Seth Sanker, Antoni Bumba, Teodora Marcella, Everett Williams, Georgia Bridgers, and Hope Bridgers. Talent will be given the prompt — “Tell Me How You Introduce Yourself With Your Pronouns, I’ll Go First,” in an effort to normalize introducing ourselves with our preferred pronouns. HMI youth members and members of the wider LGBTQ+ community are encouraged to continue the conversation and share what they think is most amazing about themselves.  DKNY has also made a donation to HMI to support its pioneering mission and empowering results.

The limited-edition tank retails for $39 exclusively on dkny.com, and the tee for $49 can be found online and at select retailers across North America and Europe. The entire capsule will be available beginning June 2nd.
