DOCKERS UNVEILS PRIDE 2019 COLLECTION

by Stephen Garner

In celebration of equality and pride, and in support of LGBTQ+ rights, the Dockers brand launches its second annual Pride collection. In honor of this collection, Dockers is making a donation to the Stonewall Community Foundation, a non-profit focusing on strengthening the LGBTQ+ community by making smart, values-driven investments in dynamic organizations, projects, and leaders.

The two-piece collection features a new take on the Dockers classic 1986 anchor logo on two unisex styles — a t-shirt and pullover hoodie — both in pink-hued 100 percent cotton and refreshed with a bold rainbow graphic. The t-shirt retails for $29.50 and the hoodie retails for $59.50. Both are now available on Dockers.com, as well as at select retail locations in the U.S., Europe, and Canada.

“We are excited and proud to introduce the Dockers Pride 2019 collection, supporting and advocating for LGTBQ+ rights,” said Lauren Johnson, senior director of global marketing for Dockers. “Standing up for LGTBQ+ equality is not only the right thing to do, it’s the necessary thing to do.”

Given our mission and accountability to the LGBTQ+ community, it’s vital that we align ourselves with brands that truly share our values,” added Jarrett Lucas, Stonewall executive director. “In that regard, Dockers is simply the perfect fit. Advancing equality, diversity, and confidence is part of their DNA. True to the Levi Strauss & Co. ethos, they’re once again rising to the occasion this Pride, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with them.”
