DRAKE’S RELEASES 40TH ANNIVERSARY CAPSULE COLLECTION

drake's anniversary collectionU.K.-based sartorial furnishings and clothing brand Drake’s has launched a new capsule collection in honor of its 40th anniversary. The collection draws deeply from Drake’s extensive and beloved design archive in a celebration of four decades of design and craftsmanship.

The collection’s ties (which retail for $185) and pocket squares (which retail for $85) are all hand-printed in Macclesfield, England using traditional dye-and-discharge methods, a labor-intensive technique that has been used since the company began.

“Our link to the past is very important,” explained Michael Hill, creative director at Drake’s. “We are innovative in what we do, but we greatly honor the past, and indeed it’s often a starting point for going forward.”
