Drake’s has opened a new pop-up concept store in New York City.

Located at 361 Canal Street, the space, dubbed “Drake’s Open Studio,” features a curated collection of Drake’s Perennials line and regular product drops, alongside work by a selection of friends and artists, as well as a comprehensive program of live events and exhibitions.

Taking inspiration from the functional fittings of the artist studios that once occupied the buildings of SoHo and Tribeca, the installations at Canal Street spin, slide, and pivot, creating a versatile approach to how the store’s space is utilized. Further, industrial trolleys, platforms, and storage units – fabricated specifically for the shop – have been reimagined to display this season’s collection.

“New York has always felt like a second home and a constant source of inspiration for us at Drake’s,” said Michael Hill, creative director of Drake’s. “To be able to open a space on Canal and work alongside some of our favourite artists and collaborators is hugely exciting.”

The first exhibition is with B. Chehayeb, an artist based in Brooklyn, who will be showing a selection of her paintings. You can see Chehayeb’s work in-store from now through November 21st.
