EDDIE BAUER LAUNCHES CAPSULE WITH BAJA EAST

by Stephen Garner

Eddie Bauer has teamed up with Baja East on a new capsule collection.

Inspired by Baja East creative director Scott Studenberg’s time spent outdoors in California, the five-piece capsule reflects the coastal color palette of Big Sur with neutrals, earth tones, and warm luxe fabrics.

When designing the collection, Studenberg was immersed in the history of the 100-year-old brand through a tour of its archives. He was immediately inspired by an archive “EB” logo which he later remixed and paired with an inverse “BE” to create the collaboration branding.

The capsule embraces signature silhouettes from both brands including Eddie Bauer’s original Skyliner Down Jacket with Baja East’s Bi-Level Hoodie and Moto Sweatpant, merging performance-wear technology with surf-to-street aesthetic and luxe fabrications, bringing the ultimate fashion fantasy to life –  warm enough for a brutal winter, cozy enough to lounge in at home and high-tech enough to pair with your hiking boots for an outdoor adventure.

The Eddie Bauer x Baja East collection, which retails between $149 and $349, is now available.
