Edward Green established his footwear workshop in Northampton, England in 1890, “Excellence without compromise,” was his promise and soon his name became synonymous with the finest English shoes in the world, gracing style icons from Ernest Hemingway to Edward, the Duke of Windsor. Still based in Northampton, today Edward Green has over sixty skilled artisans who make 350 pairs of shoes a week, for the world’s leading men’s stores as well as their shops in London and Paris.
