ETTINGER CELEBRATES BRITISH CRAFTSMANSHIP IN NEW YORK

It was a wonderful celebration of two iconic British brands last Thursday at the Turnbull & Asser townhouse in midtown Manhattan. “This is undoubtedly one of our most exciting brand and retail collaborations,” said Ettinger’s CEO Robert Ettinger. “We’re delighted that Ettinger Bespoke is being offered alongside Turnbull & Asser’s bespoke services, an exciting development for both brands as the appeal of bespoke gets ever bigger amongst our discerning customers.”

Both of these luxury specialists hold Royal Warrants from the Royal Family reflecting their exceptional British craftsmanship and heritage. Founded in 1934, Ettinger is celebrating its 85th anniversary and presented an installation of fabulous vintage pieces (I loved the double flask!) in addition to its new contemporary collections. “It’s a very British concept,” Ettinger explains. “Natural shades of the finest vegetable-tanned leather accented with a splash of color adds a touch of eccentricity to the classics. And we could all surely use a bit more eccentricity in our lives.”
