Fair Harbor has teamed up with Durand Guion, vice president of Macy’s Fashion Office, on an exclusive capsule collection.

The fashion industry can be known for being cutthroat – a new designer may be overwhelmed by having to navigate these uncertain waters. Every so often though, you meet someone who can help mentor you and guide you – which is exactly what happened for Caroline Danehy, co-founder of Fair Harbor. When she met Guion at a fashion show years ago, she introduced herself and made a lunch date. Guion quickly realized that Caroline and her brother Jake were not your typical new entrepreneurs and designers. They had a mission and a purpose.

“Legacy is important to me so I have been committed to younger people in the industry, which is how I met Caroline, and over the years, I have encouraged them to push the boundaries for their own branding and guidelines, of where they can take the Fair Harbor customer,” said Guion.

Fast forward to today as Fair Harbor has grown, and the mentor has become an official collaborator with his own collection. The collaborative line features three new prints that serve as an ode to Guion’s own style and personality. The brand’s featured collaboration with Guion will also raise money for the Swim Strong Foundation, supporting community-based swim programs in minority communities.

“I’m so grateful for Durand’s unwavering mentorship and friendship over the years and how he pushes us to keep evolving and experimenting with style,” added Caroline.

The new Fair Harbor x Durand Guion collection is now available at fairharborclothing.com and at Macy’s Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta and Macy’s Herald Square in New York City.
