Faire, A Wholesale Marketplace, Notches $1 Billion Valuation

Faire, a two-year-old wholesale marketplace that helps mom-and-pop stores discover and stock new products, has raised $150 million in a new funding round that gives it a $1 billion valuation. The San Francisco-based company said on Wednesday that it has completed its Series D round, which was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Founders Fund. Existing investors like Forerunner Ventures, Khosla Ventures and YC Continuity also participated in the round. Since it was started in 2017, Faire has raised $266 million. The company appeared on Forbes’ Next Billion-Dollar Startups list earlier this year. Read more at Forbes.
