FASHION EXPERTS AT BOOHOO REVEAL FALL 2023 FASHION TRENDS
Research carried out by fashion experts at online fast fashion retailer Boohoo examined Pinterest trends to anticipate what fashion trends will dominate this Fall season. The study revealed that green cargo pants are the biggest fashion trend for this Fall after seeing a 163% increase in Pinterest searches over the past 30 days.
Cargo pants have become increasingly popular as they are reminiscent of Y2K fashion, providing an element of nostalgia for people who wear them. Green cargo pants are also a good match with the season’s traditionally earthy tones.
Although the gathered data leaned primarily towards women’s styles, leather bomber jackets have seen a 129% increase in Pinterest searches. The outerwear classic is timeless and looks better with age, perhaps a nod towards the market’s interest in long-lasting style. The jacket has also seen a spike in popularity since last year’s “Top Gun: Maverick,” where Tom Cruise donned his iconic 1980s bomber.
Chelsea boots ranked fifth, seeing a 67% increase in Pinterest searches over the past 30 days, and flannel shirts (the perfect complement to cargo pants and leather bombers, after all), came in sixth, with a 37% increase.
