FASHION GROUP INTERNATIONAL PRESENTS RISING STAR AWARDS

Mark your calendars for next Thursday, December 17th, from 4 to 5 pm: the 24th annual Fashion Group International (FGI) Rising Star Awards are not to be missed! The broadcast will include a live presentation of the awards as well as taped inspirational messages from top industry leaders including Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Jason Wu, Brandon Maxwell, and other superstars.

“We’re excited to produce this event on a global platform, FGI bringing the ceremony to all FGI regions here and abroad,” says Maryanne Grisz, FGI’s President and CEO. “It’s incredibly important now, more than ever, to acknowledge new talent as they strive to work in an ever-changing marketplace.”

And the menswear finalists are: Christopher Lowman, Phillip White (PHIT CLOTHING), Reese Cooper, and Victor Li. Other categories in which rising stars will be recognized: women’s, all gender, home product innovation, beauty entrepreneur, accessories, new retail, business innovation, and sustainability.

Tickets for FGI members and/or groups of 10 or 20: $90 each; non-members: $120 each. FGI will match each purchased ticket with a donated, viewing ticket to a fashion student in New York or a school in one of the FGI regions. To purchase tickets, please visit www.fgi.org.
