FILSON AND DANNER TEAM UP ON NEW BOOT
Filson and Danner, two outdoor brands rooted in the Pacific Northwest, have teamed up to create the limited-edition Filson x Danner Grouse boot. Inspired by traditional hunt and military wear, the original Grouse boot is a signature hunting boot in the Danner line and developed in the company’s Portland, Oregon factory. Together, the new Filson x Danner Grouse boot features classic materials from both brands, resulting in a utilitarian design.
The Filson x Danner Grouse boot is completely waterproof and built with Danner’s premium, full-grain leather. The boot also features the Portland-based brand’s classic stitchdown construction for added stability. Filson’s signature and highly durable waxed Tin Cloth is featured on the side panels, highlighting some of the most iconic materials of each brand. Other features include a Gore-Tex lining and Vibram Sierra outsole, which is common among Danner military boots. It is also co-branded with Danner and Filson logos on the tongue.
“Due to our deeply similar history and a continued dedication to producing the best quality gear, the collaboration between Filson and Danner is an obvious fit, with Danner being the true experts in footwear built for the field,” said Andreas Herr, marketing director at Filson.
