NEW YORK – Brian Flannery has been promoted to president of the Stacy Adams division of Weyco Group. He succeeds Gary Malamet, who’s left the firm to take another position within the footwear industry.
Flannery has been with Milwaukee, Wisc.-based Weyco for 23 years in a variety of retail and wholesale positions and for the past four years has served as vice president of Stacy Adams.
Additionally, Matt Engerman, previously vice president of sales for the Hush Puppies unit of Wolverine World Wide, has joined Weyco as vice president of sales for Nunn Bush. He succeeds Larry Wilcoff, who is retiring after 18 years with the firm.
Weyco, a wholesaler and retailer of men’s casual and dress shoes, is the owner of the Stacy Adams trademark and licenses the name to numerous manufacturers in categories other than footwear. Its other brands include Florsheim and NXXT.
