Award-winning singer Frank Ocean has launched Homer, an independent luxury fashion company, whose wares will only be available at his new store at 70-74 Bowery in New York City. According to a press release, the company’s name “represents carving history into stone.”

Homer’s first collection comprises high-end men’s jewelry that uses 18K gold, recycled sterling silver, hand-painted enamel, and American lab-grown diamonds, as well as a collection of silk scarves. The collection is hand-made in Italy. Ocean says his designs were inspired by “childhood obsessions” and “heritage as a fantasy.”

Those who wish to view the collection can only do so through a catalog, which features photography by Ocean, or at the store; appointments are requested via homer.com.

Ocean’s last album, “Blonde” was released in 2016. He received two Grammy Awards in 2013 after the release of his album “Channel Orange,” which was named Best Urban Contemporary Album and received a nomination for Album of the Year.
