GOLDEN GOOSE AND YATAY LAB WIN ITALIAN SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

Golden Goose and Yatay Lab won the SFA Groundbreaker Award at Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) Sustainable Fashion Awards 2024. The prestigious event, hosted by actress Frieda Pinto and held at Teatro alla Scala in Milan during fashion week, was organized by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana in collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI) of the United Nations International Trade Center and with the support of Comune di Milano.

On behalf of the brands, Silvio Campara, CEO of Golden Goose, and Umberto De Marco, President of Coronet and Founder of Yatay, were awarded by supermodel Isabeli Fontana and Italian actress Matilde Gioli. (Above, Lto R: Fontana, De Marco, Campara, and Gioli)

The Groundbreaker Award celebrates innovative and unconventional solutions that mitigate today’s fashion industry’s environmental and social impacts. The Yatay Lab is a collaborative initiative with Coronet Group. It is a hub for researching and developing sustainable and circular materials, marking a significant step toward a more environmentally conscious fashion industry.
