Google’s Second Store to Feature ‘More Intimate’ Neighborhood-Focused Format

Google is sticking close to home with its second brick-and-mortar location. Set to open June 16, 2022 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the tech giant’s newest store will be located just across the East River from its first, in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood.

The new Brooklyn Google Store will be the first to feature what David Williams, Director of Retail Operations at Google, calls a “neighborhood stores” format, with a smaller, “more intimate” footprint than the Chelsea flagship and design elements celebrating the shop’s location. read more at Retail TouchPoints.
