GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson celebrated the Coolest Designers on the Planet collection launch, which features looks designed exclusively for Gap, last night at St. Ann’s Warehouse in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn. Designers included: AMI, Kinfolk, and United Arrows.

GQ’s creative director Jim Moore, GQ’s fashion director Madeline Weeks, Gap’s VP of men’s design John Caruso, AMI designer Alexandre Mattiusi, Kinfolk creative director Jey Perie, United Arrows design duo Yasuto Kamoshita and Poggy; plus, comedian Keegan-Michael Key, and Olympian Miles Chamley-Watson.

Attendees were given first access to shop the collection while enjoying specialty drinks and snacks throughout the space.

Established in 2007, GQ’s Best New Menswear Designers in America project works to advance and bring attention to up-and- coming menswear designers. This year, GQ and Gap celebrated the program by including international designers to create a collection that will reach a global audience. The pieces are now available at select Gap stores, as well as online at www.gap.com/GQ.
