GRAILED TEAMS WITH ATLANTA RAPPER LIL YACHTY FOR CLOSET SALE
Menswear marketplace Grailed has teamed up with Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty to sell some of his favorite items from his own closet. The popular resale site has been dropping daily pieces from Yachty’s closet and will continue through March 6th.
Lil Yachty has shot to the forefront of the hip-hop scene over the last two years, and the same could be said for his wardrobe. The partnership grants the brand’s community access to one of hip hop’s most esteemed wardrobes while also shining a light on the rapper’s style trajectory from newcomer to stardom.
To build the highly anticipated closet sale, three Grailed curators visited the rapper’s home with the mission of producing a diverse and luxe array of product. After 13 hours, the team crafted an eclectic mixture that extends from nostalgic and accessible to iconic and rapper status gems included.
The Grailed x Lil Yachty closet sale features over 750 pieces including menswear, accessories, footwear, toys, memorabilia and more. The full closet is worth over $300,000 and is priced competitively to sell pieces that soar from top-tier luxury to rare vintage—including a diamond Jesus pendant worth $65,000 that Grailed will list at the resale price of $30,000.
Today, the diamond Jesus pendant goes up for sale as well as a Supreme Tiger Varsity Jacket for $1,600 and a Chinatown Market Smile Leather Bomber for $150.
Grailed continues to take on 2020 with full force, as the Lil Yachty partnership follows successful collaborations with artists including Future, G-Eazy, and Pusha T.
