H&m taps basketball player d’angelo russell for campaign

H&M has teamed up with American basketball player D’Angelo Russell to curate his favorite menswear pieces from the fast-fashion retailer’s spring offering.

The “Spring Essentials Selected by D’Angelo Russell” collection highlights athletic-inspired pieces and versatile wardrobe must-haves in neutral tones of camel, black, and various shades of white. Key pieces include water-resistant rust-colored anoraks, slim fit joggers, modern and minimal utility shirts, and lightweight plaid topcoats.

For this launch, D’Angelo shows off his style with a campaign and video shot in the streets of California. The camera follows D’Angelo as he gives a glimpse into his daily life and interests, whether it be shooting winning hoops at the neighborhood basketball court, flipping through records at a vintage record shop, or arriving at a basketball stadium filled with screaming fans.

The 19-piece collection, which retails between$12.99 and $69.99, is now available on HM.com and all stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada carrying the men’s assortment.
