HUF OPENS FLAGSHIP STORE IN BROOKLYN

by Stephen Garner

Global skate and fashion brand HUF has opened a new storefront in Brooklyn. Located at 80 North 3rd Street in Williamsburg, this store will serve as the brand’s new NYC flagship.

Founded by Keith Hufnagel in 2002, HUF is a line made by skateboarders for skateboarders and has grown into an international brand with 14 stand-alone stores – making Brooklyn the brand’s 15th location – and carried in retailers in 59 countries.

The new HUF Brooklyn store opens in conjunction with the release of the brand’s latest holiday 2019 men’s collection and campaign titled “No Sleep in Brooklyn,” featuring HUF team riders Brad Cromer and Dick Rizzo on a night mission through the Brooklyn streets. The store will also house the brand’s newly launched women’s collection – including both the women’s fall 2019 and upcoming women’s holiday 2019 collections.

Hufnagel and HUF CEO Eddie Miyoshi have made plans for further retail expansion into several new cities going into 2020, including Asia, San Francisco, and further stores in Los Angeles where the brand is currently based.
