Ike Behar Opening a Charlotte Store
Ike Behar is opening a new store in Charlotte, N.C. this spring. The store is the third for the brand, and part of a retail rollout that began in late 2012. The Charlotte store will be at 6706-B Phillips Place Court.
“Phillips Court Place brings a new and unique urban scape to the expanding Charlotte market place,” commented Ike Behar president Alan Behar. “The combination of fine dining, high-quality retailing and superb residences creates a city within a city and promises to redefine the urban luxury lifestyle. Ike Behar is excited to be a part of this new development and offer our fine product to this most discerning clientele.”
Ike Behar opened its first store in Charleston, S.C. in December 2012. A Chicago store followed in July 2013.
“It’s really exciting,” added Ike Behar, founder of the company. “We’ve always had a very large and loyal group of customers and fans, and it’s really tremendous that we’re now able to provide them with a more comprehensive experience with our brand and our products.”
The Miami-based company was founded in the 1950s when Cuban-born Ike Behar bought a small New York City tailor shop he’d been working at. Ike Behar is run by Ike’s three sons, Steven, Alan and Lawrence, and is now a full lifestyle brand across multiple categories.
