‘INTERVIEW’ MAGAZINE DEBUTS CAPSULE COLLECTION WITH MSGM

Interview magazine and Italian fashion brand MSGM have joined forces to design a limited-edition range of soft goods featuring the magazine’s September 2019 cover fronted by RuPaul.

In February 1988, Interview became the first magazine to feature a drag queen on the cover of a magazine, with drag superstar and John Waters muse, Divine.

In 2019, Interview editors picked up where Divine left off by positioning RuPaul on its September fashion biannual. The cover was photographed by Ethan James Green, while RuPaul’s interview was conducted by Judge Judy.

To mark the occasion, Interview partnered with MGSM to create a limited run of garments, consisting of 200 units per piece.

The unisex collection consists of two t-shirts and one sweatshirt made in 100 percent cotton fabric in Italy. The t-shirts are short-sleeved and were produced in black and white colorways. The sweatshirt is long-sleeved and features a ribbed neck and sleeves and is available exclusively in black.
