On Tuesday, February 11th, Francesco Genuardi, the Consul General of Italy in New York, and Antonino Laspina, the Italian Trade Commissioner in New York, joined forces to host a gathering at the Italian Consulate in New York dedicated to honoring the 60 Italian fashion brands showing at the Coterie trade show with the support of the Italian Trade Agency.

New York City Media personalities, influencers, and industry experts came together to celebrate an Italian evening of style.  The event was held in the framework of the initiatives of promotion of Italian fashion in New York carried out by the Consulate General of New York and the Italian Trade Agency Office of New York with the support of the Embassy of Italy in the United States.

From February 11th to the 13th, buyers, retailers, and media descended to the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan to peruse the stylish fall/winter 2020 collections of these 60 luxury and contemporary ready-to-wear and accessory brands for women.

From impeccably designed clothing to tailored outerwear pieces and all the way to handcrafted shoes and accessories, Italian fashion triumphed at the major biannual New York City trade show that brings together international designers and brands with retailers from every corner of the U.S. and the world.
