JA Apparel and Reebok Outfit Two NFL Coaches
NEW YORK – JA Apparel has made a deal with Reebok and the NFL to outfit some of the league’s coaches with a line called the “Joseph Abboud Coaches Collection.” It will launch with Mike Nolan, coach of the San Francisco 49ers and Jack Del Rio, coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars during the opening week of the season.
According to JA Apparel, the line will include suits, sports jackets, trousers, shirts and ties in colors that reflect each coach’s team. Reebok supplied what was referred to in a press release as “technological fabrics” to the endeavor.
JA Apparel’s Marty Staff said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to work with Coach Nolan and Coach Del Rio, both of whom have such great personal style. Football conjures images of great American heritage, which melds naturally with our continued heritage of manufacturing all of our Joseph Abboud suits and ties in America.”
Reebok’s president of the Sports Licensed Division David Baxter added, “As a proud partner of the NFL, Reebok’s main goal is to provide compelling product for coaches, players and fans. In recent years, these two coaches have expressed interest in wearing more formal attire on the sidelines for special games. In the spirit of working collaboratively with the coaches and the league, Reebok is excited to team up with Joseph Abboud to launch our new ‘’Coaches Collection.’”
