JEWELRY BRAND MISSOMA LAUNCHES ITS FIRST MEN’S CAPSULE

by Stephen Garner

Missoma has revealed plans to launch its first-ever Men’s Edit this month.

Gone are the days of men’s accessories being limited to rings and watches. The Missoma men’s capsule collection features a mix of chunky chains, bold flat-link bracelets, and classic finer chain necklaces – designed to wear solo or layer up to create a unique look. All pieces are 18-carat gold vermeil on sterling silver or 18-carat gold plated on brass.

“Men have been wearing our jewellery for years as our designs are so universal, so we already have a very captive audience,” said Marisa Hordern, founder and creative director of Missoma. “Recently we’ve noticed a stark rise in demand for chains and bracelets due to the likes of Ryan Gosling, and Paul Mescal in Normal People, gracing our screens (and who wouldn’t want to look like them!?). This felt like the perfect time to launch our first men’s capsule edit. It’s just the start for Missoma Men’s collections.”

To launch the collection, Missoma is celebrating the unifying power of creativity by teaming up with Isaac Waddington, a singer and pianist who rose to fame at just 15 years old, and model and actor Yannick Konan, who is making his Netflix debut this year in upcoming show Agent.

The new Men’s Edit from Missoma, which retails between $97 and $515, is now available.
