JONATHAN ANDERSON WILL PRODUCE THE JUNE DIOR MEN’S COLLECTION

Following the January departure of Dior’s Chief Creative Officer, Kim Jones, LVMH has announced that Jonathan Anderson, who himself recently left his lead role at Loewe in March, where he produced both the men’s and women’s collections, will produce only the men’s runway collection for Dior’s June runway show. According to a statement at a shareholder meeting from LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault today, Anderson will produce the Men’s runway collection for Dior’s June runway show.

The SS2026 line-up is currently scheduled to hit the runway at Paris Fashion Week on June 27th,71 days from today’s announcement. The current Creative Director of women’s wear, Maria Grazia Chiuri, just this week featured a preview of the FW2025 collection in Japan, which begs the question: Will the two designers co-helm Dior for their respective genders?

While the move to Dior was predicted back in March, it remains unclear why the announcement was tucked into a shareholder meeting instead of following the company’s previous precedent of announcing major leadership changes with official press releases.
