Justin MacInerney has joined the staff at New & Lingwood, a modern men’s haberdashery operating stores in London and Windsor (mainly serving Eton college) as well as online.

Prior to joining New & Lingwood, MacInerney held executive spots at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Kiton, HMS Fabrics, and JPM Creative.

Last week, the New & Lingwood brand celebrated the bold British style and sumptuous fabrics of its fall ’21 collection in addition to its collaboration with Crowley Vintage tie designer Sean Crowley, who previously designed neckwear for Ralph Lauren.

Interestingly, as NYC store manager Andrew Yamato notes, “Although we offer a full line of ready-to-wear and made-to-measure menswear and accessories, our focus is on luxury loungewear, with our exclusive silk dressing gowns our signature product.”

This stylish event (the brand’s first since COVID started) was held in the back garden of the Upper East Side store, which opened three years ago and is the only New & Lingwood shop outside the UK. Jazz Age Lawn Party founder and bandleader Michael Arenella performed, cocktails were provided by Highclear Castle Gin and guests enjoyed toasting Crowley on his birthday (the cake was baked by Yamato’s daughter) while celebrating the long-awaited return to in-person partying.
