KANGOL NAMES JEFFREY CLAIR EVP OF SALES FOR NORTH AMERICA

Montreal-based wholesale licensing house Elmau & Associates has tapped Jeffrey M. Clair as its new executive vice president of sales for North America.

In this new role, Clair will be responsible for accelerating the growth of licensed branded clothing lines mainly focusing on the Kangol brand in apparel, growing the business throughout the U.S., and identifying new business opportunities.

Clair brings his years of experience as a sales leader for some of the world’s most admired apparel and accessories brands, including his most recent position as executive vice president for global sales for the Bollman Hat Company. He has served as senior vice president of sales for Russell Newman Brands, vice president of new business development for the Carole Hochman Design Group, and a division sales vice president for Hanesbrands Inc. In addition, Clair has been a principal of his own company, ClairVoyant Consulting, LLC.

Clair is an advisory board member for BWG Strategy, LLC. He has served on the development committee for the Connecticut Challenge, a cancer fundraising organization responsible for raising millions of dollars for cancer survivors. He is a past board member of the Underfashion Club, and a life trustee of the Discovery Museum and Planetarium, a children’s science education center located in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
