Khokhar Takes Jordache Strategy Spot
NEW YORK – Salman Khokhar has been named to the new post of executive vice president of global strategy for Jordache Enterprises. He reports to Cliff Lelonek, president and chief executive officer of the U.S. Polo Assn. division.
Khokhar will be responsible for international licensing, strategic planning and new business development for Jordache Enterprises brands including Jordache, Kikit Jeans and Earl Jean. Brenda Palmer continues as vice president of licensing for Jordache brands in North America, reporting to Lelonek.
Khokhar was a partner in KoKa Consulting, where he worked with clients including Jones New York Intimates and Fleet Street on their global branding initiatives. Earlier in his career, he was head of new business development at Donna Karan and director of sales and planning for the Calvin Klein division of Warnaco Group.
At Jordache, Khokhar will oversee the company’s domestic retail growth initiatives as well as its international expansion focusing on Japan, India, China and Brazil.
