In celebration of Kith’s 10-year anniversary, the lifestyle brand and specialty retailer will release The KXTH Book – a 300-page tome that includes memories and archival content from the past decade, interviews with partners and friends of the brand, as well as exclusive first looks at the collections they will be releasing through the end of this year.

Kith opened the doors to its first-ever store, located in Brooklyn, on September 30, 2011. Ten years later, Kith has flagships and shop-in-shops in nine cities around the world, as well as in-house apparel lines for men, women, and kids.  In lieu of the robust, theatrical fashion show presentation the brand is known for executing annually, Kith founder and creative director Ronnie Fieg sought to create something tangible for customers that they could keep as a lasting memory.  As a new paradigm for the presentation, he chose to take on a new, non-traditional format to accomplish this, choosing a printed book to properly document and commemorate the growth and evolution of the brand over the past decade.

Fieg recruited a team of experts from the publishing and editorial world to bring this vision to life. The creative direction of the book was led by Jim Moore, the esteemed creative director of GQ for four decades, while former Details Magazine style director and frequent Kith collaborator Eugene Tong, oversaw the styling. Acclaimed photographer Sebastian Kim served as the principal photographer, and Jian DeLeon served as the editorial content director. This team collaborated closely with Fieg as the artistic director to create the final product.

Inside the book, readers will find a deep dive into the Kith archive as Fieg and his partners expound on the processes behind product ethos, store design, and more. However, the majority of the 300 pages focus on Kith’s upcoming collections for 2021, featuring exclusive content created for the book. These collections include Kith Fall 1 (set to release two days after the book), Kith Fall 2 (the brand’s largest and most elevated offering to date), as well as partnerships with brands such as Asics, the New York Knicks, Russell Athletic, the New York Yankees and Mets, Clarks Originals, Timberland, Monopoly, Adidas Terrex, Star Wars and more. A variety of fashion editorials were shot for these different collections, many of them featuring recognizable faces including Adrien Brody, Michael J. Fox, Bobby Cannavale, Daniel Arsham, Nigel Sylvester, Victor Cruz, among others.

To further bring its upcoming collections to life through this book, Kith created a special digital experience for its audience. Customers who purchase the book will gain exclusive early access to select styles from upcoming collections ahead of its public release. The details on how to access this special launch are outlined inside of each physical copy of the book.

The KXTH Book releases on Kith’s 10-year anniversary – Thursday, September 30th, at all Kith shops and on kith.com.

One week following the launch of the book, Kith will release its Fall 1 “10 Year” Collection, which includes a Kith Classics range created in collaboration with Russell Athletic. Kith Fall 1 releases Friday, October 8th at all Kith shops and on kith.com.
