LEATHER GOODS VETERAN HAROLD MASTER STARTS INTERNATIONAL DESIGN GROUP

Harold Master IDG
by Brian Lipton

Harold Master, the former owner of both Master Accessories and IDG, is back in his own business. The new company, also called IDG (and which now stands for International Design Group) makes belts and small leather goods for large retailers looking for great styling and personal service. IDG will have offices in Dallas, Texas and New York.

“I have been in the belt business over 30 years. I think we need to raise the quality of the product using more genuine leathers,” says Masters.

Masters most recently worked for Dezine News Accessories (DNA) and was with Westport Corp for two years, where he launched their men’s belts and small leather goods business.
