LIDS OPENING NEW CERRITOS, CA STORE WITH A SPECIAL CHARITY EVENT
Headwear purveyor Lids has opened a new 1,055 sq foot store at the Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos, CA.
The store features digital screens showcasing Lids’ own content and highlighting the latest product drops, on-site customization, as well as features tables that highlighting new products. The store will also display a mural made by multimedia artist, Joshua Vides. Each Lids HD store concept caters to headwear enthusiasts and those who are starting to build their collections by leaning into exclusive and limited-edition hat drops.
The Lids Foundation will match a portion of all in-store purchases made at the Lids HD LA store from Friday, March 28th through Sunday, March 30th to Goods Sports’ “RESTORE PLAY LA Recovery Fund”to help provide critical sports equipment, apparel, and footwear to LA-area youth who were impacted by the recent wildfires and help kids return to the sports they love.

The first exclusive hat to drop during the grand opening events will be the Uniform Pinwheel 5950($49.99), which incorporates each MLB team’s home and away jersey, with the front two panels reflecting the team’s away jersey with the team wordmark, and the right-side panel reflecting their home uniform. The back and left panels are their primary team color. Customers will receive a free dust bag and exclusive LHD pin with purchase while supplies last. To celebrate the latest Lids HD store, there will be weekend-long grand opening events starting Friday, March 28th through Saturday, March 29th from 10:30am-6:30pm PT. The celebration will include product from local brand Supervsn, a Lids HD LA pin drop and refreshing agua fresca from The Cart Collective on Saturday.
