LIL WAYNE FRONTS UGG AND BAPE’S NEWEST COLLABORATION

Coming off of a successful debut earlier this year, Southern California-based global lifestyle brand UGG and Tokyo’s own BAPE will release the second drop of their collaboration capsule fronted by Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Wayne, who showcases the limited-edition offering of men’s footwear, apparel, and cold-weather accessories.

The UGG x BAPE autumn/winter 2019 collaboration, which was unveiled late last year at BAPE’s 25th-anniversary exhibition, merges the UGG Men’s bestselling styles with BAPE’s iconic camouflage print. The collection consists of three UGG footwear styles—Classic Mini, Neumel and Tasman—and the sheepskin Mouton Coat and a pair of mittens.

“Partnering with an iconic streetwear brand like BAPE allowed us to show UGG Men’s in a fresh new way and environment,” said Andrea O’Donnell, president of fashion lifestyle at Deckers Brands, the parent company of UGG. “BAPE took its world-renowned print and applied it to several of our top-performing men’s silhouettes, creating a street style-ready capsule.”

The collection will be available on November 9th for purchase at select BAPE store locations worldwide, including New York and Los Angeles.
