Looking for the new and novel at the shows

Some of the things that caught my eye at the shows in New York and Las Vegas over the summer: Animal print shoes; Japanese hatchets and travel chopsticks (made from recycled Japanese baseball bats!); cufflinks made out of antler, bone, jade and other exotic materials; bright pants in linens, silks, gabardines and wools from Andy Stinson; silk bandana pocket squares; wild Danish style; new grooming supplies from Imperial Barber; and colorful shoe laces from Hook + Albert and Stolen Riches.
