[metaslider id=112822] Last week, Louis Leeman, Erica Pelosini and Johannes Huebl celebrated the launch of the Louis Leeman Made-to-Measure Program and short movie at the Penthouse at the Standard East, located at 25 Cooper Square in New York. Guests included Eric Rutherford, Darren Star, Peter Brant Jr., Allyson Shiffman, Eric Jennings, and Sam Spector.

For the new Louis Leeman made-to-measure program, available at the brand’s Madison Ave boutique, customers will be able to choose from seven classic shapes. The body of the pair is customizable by fabric and colorway as well as sole material. Customers are given a selection of accessories to choose from which include but are not limited to hardware, tassels, eyelets, straps and shoe strings. Each pair is then finished off with the recipient’s engraved initials on the inside of the sole. Custom pairs take approximately six weeks to produce by hand in Florence and are priced 20 percent above retail.

To help celebrate this launch, creative directors Louis Leeman and Erica Pelosini presented Man to Measure, the first short movie realized by the brand, in collaboration with Ivan Olita, starring Johannes Huebl.

“Working on a video with our friend Johannes was a great experience,” said Leeman. “Since the beginning, Johannes immediately understood what we had in mind as a concept and perfectly embodies the soul and the aesthetic behind our brand – the ideal ambassador for us. The video wants to pay tribute to young gentlemen’s lifestyle and attitude with a strong ironic angle. We decided to work on the film to celebrate the introduction of the new bespoke service in our Madison Avenue boutique. We feel that Johannes is the ideal representative for our interpretation of the synergy between hand-crafted Italian tradition and a contemporary lifestyle.”
