LUISAVIAROMA OPENS FIRST STORE IN NEW YORK CITY AT 1 BOND STREET

Florence, Italy-based retailer LuisaViaRoma has opened a New York City flagship in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood, on 1 Bond St. The opening is part of the company’s global expansion strategy, designed to balance the immediacy of web and app-based digital services with best-in-class physical locations where luxury goods can be touched and tried on. The new store complements the retailer’s legacy flagship in Florence, its multi-brand website, luisaviaroma.com, and a clienteling suite in Milan for hosting press, special guests, and top clients.

LuisaViaRoma New York’s elevated experience and true luxury offering should make the flagship a premier retail destination. The new store features ready-to-wear collections for women and men, focusing on labels catering to opinion leaders in culture, business, entertainment, and philanthropy.

The two-floor store spans 11,366 sq. ft. The interior combines custom-made and vintage furnishings. There is also a 2,217 sq. ft. VIP clientele floor, accessed via a discreet entrance.

Vestiaire Collective and LuisaViaRoma continue to promote a commitment to circular fashion by extending their ongoing partnership. New York visitors can shop an edit of certified vintage pieces in-store and directly consign their luxury goods on-site in exchange for LuisaViaRoma credit.

CEO Tommaso Andorlini says, “We are excited to debut LuisaViaRoma’s first U.S. store at 1 Bond Street, NYC. This new multi-brand flagship services our global clientele with a high-touch, in-person shopping experience. While our digital platform continues to deliver best-in-class, around-the-clock service, LuisaViaRoma New York sets the new standard for modern luxury retail in the city with its product offering and physical experience.”
