MASSIMO DUTTI OPENS SOUTH COAST PLAZA STORE
Spanish-based apparel chain Massimo Dutti has opened its first West coast store today, November, 20, in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. The new boutique features 8,891 square feet of retail space, spanning one level, and will house the men’s, women’s and accessory collections. Based on finishes and shapes that aim for a warmer, more contemporary retail space environment, the store’s dominant materials include walnut wood, brass, leather and dark marble are the dominant materials in the new architectural design that blends modern lines and classic details.
Part of the Inditex Group, Massimo Dutti was created in 1985 in Spain, and was originally launched with menswear. In 1995, it launched its first womenswear collection, with a variety of styles from casual to sophisticated and timeless. Today, it has a commercial presence in 68 countries between Europe, America and Asia with over 700 stores, as well as an e-commerce site.
In addition to Massimo Dutti, Inditex owns seven other fashion chains: Zara, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterque.
