MEMPHIS PRIME MARKS SECOND SUCCESSFUL SEASON
“Put on my blue suede shoes
And I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring rain…”
According to reports, the pouring rain held off and it was another successful Memphis Prime to kick off the spring ’22 shopping season. Key exhibitors included Brax, Alan Paine, David Donahue, Nobis, Paige, Edwin, Bomme Studio, Vuori, Sol Angeles, SMN, Trinidad3, Pig & Hen, Hudson, Joe’s, Johnston & Murphy, Johnnie-O, Marine Layer, Southern Tide, Peter Millar, W. Kleinberg, Billy Reid, L.E.N., Buki, Toes on the Nose, and many more.
Says show director Lauren Vestal, “It was a fun group and we lucked out with nice weather for our Monday night Happy Hour at Wiseacre (a local brewery), with music by local recording artist Cyrena Wages.”
Let the show season continue strong!
What a great show once again! Fun, high quality, safe, economical, and easy going. Looking forward to the next one for sure… Having the chance to have a smaller more industry-oriented opportunity in a setting that is intimate and comfortable really makes the case for the smaller venues when it’s done right.
Memphis Prime has since the beginning done a great job of ensuring that quality and safety are top of mind, and that really gives us a chance to relax and work with our partners in a much more effective manner. Lauren has done a superb job top to bottom, and deserves much commendation for taking the cautious chance in an uncertain time to help the men’s industry on both sides when it needed it most.
KAG, “Walking in Memphis” is one of my favorite songs.
One day, I’ll go to Beale!
