MIAMI RETAILER UNKNWN TO OPEN SECOND LOCATION

Miami-based retailer UNKNWN is growing.

The store, co-founded by basketball superstar LeBron James, Jaron Kanfer, and Frankie Walker Jr., will open a new location in the Wynwood neighborhood this December.

Located at 261 NW 26th Street in Miami across from the famous Wynwood Walls, the new store will be 3,000 square feet of retail space along with an additional 4,000 square feet of courtyard space that will serve as an experiential venue for sporting and lifestyle events for the Miami community and global travelers.

For its new store, UNKNWN tapped designers New York Sunshine to provide a unique shopping experience that reflects the lifestyle and wardrobe of the co-founders. The design firm will create a custom water feature, 20+ custom dyed shelving and displays, and 200+ feet of mural wall space for art creations and artist expressions.

The shop will also include an Indoor built-in photo studio, custom photography equipment, and prop house, as well as personal shopping by appointment.

To coincide with its retail opening UNKNWN will re-launch its e-commerce website to integrate local events, global shopping features, limited edition products, and anti-bot processes for coveted releases.

The retailer’s founders will be celebrating the store’s opening with a series of events occurring during the 2019 Art Basel Miami.

Opening its first store in 2011, UNKNWN offers an authentic assortment of covetable sneakers, collectible items, contemporary ready-to-wear, and designer apparel. The company was built with the objective to reinvent shopping by connecting brands to consumers through experiences and curated products.
