MR GOES BACK TO PRINT IN 2023

by Karen Alberg Grossman

No, we’re not giving up our MR Daily digital newsflash that shares industry news as it happens but, with many of you longing for the return of our in-depth interviews, insightful business analysis, comprehensive surveys, controversial roundtables, opinion pieces and on-trend fashion pages, we’re bringing back five prints issues in 2023, with more to come in 2024.

Please let us know what you want to see more of, less of, or none-at-all-of in next year’s print and digital magazines so we can focus our content on what’s most meaningful to you. We’ve got some exciting features planned: 23 for ’23 — Who’s Impacting Menswear Now, Sustainability: Are We Getting Close? 2023 — The Year of the Specialty Store, MR’s Ultimate Guide to Denim, Love Island: Couples in Business, E-Commerce Controversy, Industry Icons, Crystal Ball on Men’s Fashion, MR Awards, DEI: For Real or Show?, and much more!

But we’re open to YOUR ideas and would love to hear from you! Give us a call or drop a line.

With much appreciation to our loyal readers and MR supporters,

— Karen and John

  1. As a long time reader and advertiser in MR I’m so happy to see that you are bringing black the print issues

    1. As a long time reader and advertiser in MR magazine I’m glad to see you’re bringing the print issues back

      1. Donald, You and Mr Saint George are among the reasons MR had a print magazine in the first place! Your gorgeous South Beach images featuring beautiful models wearing fashionable 1990s apparel made a tremendous impact, page after page after page.
        Those were the days!

  2. That’s great news, even though I have since retired. I recall reading the Daily News Record (DNR) back in 1971 not only for menswear news, but to learn of lines available for sales reps and job openings for retail positions.

    1. Thanks for this suggestion David. We have considered including a classified section in our digital newsflash and will reconsider doing so with our re-launch.

  3. Great news! I’d recommend a feature in each issue specifically relating to etailers and ecommerce, as many of your readers are not in the brick and mortar business. And we ecommerce guys/gals have our own accomplishments, challenges, perspectives and insights that brick and mortar store owners would benefit from hearing.

    1. Excellent suggestion: it’s already on our editorial calendar. Send me an email Greg so I will be sure to contact you for info… KAG

  4. Congratulations! Very excited to hold again a MR Magazine! Cannot wait!
Always great information, news updates and guidance in there. Of course I’ve been reading all the great email blasts; but its different- nothing better than holding onto and savoring a good read in print. It’s just so much better!
    All the best!!
