From real estate sales to counseling high school youth, Ryan Giese has recently directed his intrinsic passion for design into a colorful, creative, unique men’s shirt collection that stands out from the crowd. Teaming up with a quality mill in Italy, the new line is different enough to stand out yet sophisticated enough to be taken seriously. It’s been described as timeless, tasty and very versatile.

First launching online, Ryan is now taking steps to go wholesale, with trunk shows in select stores. The shirts, available in regular and slim fits, open at $117 cost; the average ticket is $295 retail. Says Christopher Lambert at Christopher James Menswear, Fort Wayne Indiana, “As a merchant, I’m always excited to see new, passionate talent enter the marketplace. Ryan has some beautiful shirts and we’re excited to have him at our store mid-April.”

Asked to sum up what makes his shirts special, Ryan reiterates that he’s quality-obsessed. “We spent the last two years looking for the best fabrics and best manufacturers in Italy, companies as meticulous and detail-oriented as we are. I love bold color and fun prints. Our goal is to inject fresh life into the shirt category, an area that’s often mundane. It’s a dance to make shirts that are eye-catching but not obnoxious.”

Ryan highly values fit, and takes pride in a collection that’s witty, with a youthful edge. “It can be hard to find a perfect slim fit; we wanted ours to be synonymous with sexy. In fact, our mission is to make all our shirts sexy and versatile so they look great in the office, out to dinner, around the house, or on a yacht. That versatility comes across both in how the shirts look and how they feel.”
